The following are warning lights and indicators found in vehicles built by Volkswagen. Engine running fine no missfires. 20120118 Exhaust warning light.
20120429 I have a Golf TDi - and my exhaust gas warning light does not go off.
If this red light remains on after you fully release the parking brake or comes on when youre driving it could indicate that either the brake fluid level is low or that the Automatic Braking system isnt working properly in which case the ABS warning light will also be illuminated. This light lit up on my dash last night. Decided to leave the golf and take the wifes car out. So it goes on strike.
